GATEWAY GAMES 2024: Team Kwara Shines in Wushu KungFu, Soccer

Team Kwara won its first medal (Silver) in the Nanquan event at the ongoing National Sports Festival (Gateway Games) in Ogun State. Sidiq Bolaji Sidiq scored 6.63 points, just behind Ogun State’s athlete who took gold with 6.73 points.

In a separate sporting feat, Kwara’s male football team erupted in jubilation as they bounced back from a previous defeat to beat the Lagos State team 2-1.
