ABS Ilorin FC secured a 2-0 victory over Offa FC in the matchday six fixtures of the 2025 Nationwide League One (NLO) played on Wednesday morning, at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbow, George Innih Stadium Ilorin Kwara State.
Second half goals from Johnson Akintola in the 57th minute and Ayo Ebi in the 63rd minute handed The SarakiBoys their first win in the ongoing New year Mega lottery Nationwide League One 2025 season.
After a challenging start with three draws and two defeats the team displayed hunger and determination to secure the win. Akintola and Ebi's second-half goals earned the team six points, lifting them off the bottom of the table.
Head Coach of the team, Benjamin Adieze expressed satisfaction with the team's performance. "I'm pleased with the team's effort and determination, but we can't afford to be complacent. We have more work to do and crucial matches ahead. Let's keep pushing forward and stay focused." He said.
They will take on Dohz FC next.
